Eggs / Egg Laying Pattern
In beekeeping, 'Stifte' (pins) refers to freshly laid eggs standing upright in their cells. The egg laying pattern describes the presence and distribution of these eggs across the combs. A good pattern with one egg per cell centered at the bottom is an important indicator of a healthy, productive queen.
