Electrical Conductivity

Electrical conductivity is an important criterion for distinguishing between blossom honey and honeydew honey. Blossom honey has a conductivity below 0.8 mS/cm, while honeydew honey is above this threshold. It is measured during laboratory analysis for varietal honey and is defined as a quality parameter in honey regulations.
