LoRaWAN
LoRaWAN (Long Range Wide Area Network) is a wireless protocol for IoT devices offering long range (up to 15 km) with minimal power consumption. In beekeeping, it enables wireless transmission of hive scale data even from remote apiary locations without WiFi access. A LoRaWAN gateway forwards the data to the internet.
