Swarm Reproduction
Swarm reproduction is the most natural form of colony multiplication, where a caught swarm is established as a new colony. In organic beekeeping, especially Demeter, swarm reproduction is required or preferred. The swarm is considered healthy as it naturally cleanses itself of varroa in its broodless state.
