Swarm Cell
Swarm cells are queen cells built at the bottom edges of combs, indicating imminent swarming. They are acorn-shaped, point downward, and contain a queen larva in abundant royal jelly. Finding swarm cells during inspection requires immediate action by the beekeeper.
