Daily Weight Gain
Daily weight gain is the change in colony weight measured by a hive scale over 24 hours. It is the most important indicator of current nectar intake. Values above 1 kg/day indicate good foraging conditions, with peak values during rapeseed or linden flow exceeding 5 kg/day.
