Settling (Honey Clarification)
Settling is a step in honey processing where freshly extracted honey rests in a settling tank. Air bubbles, fine wax particles, and foam rise to the surface and can be skimmed off. The settling process takes 1-3 days depending on the honey variety and ambient temperature.
