EU Organic Regulation
The EU Organic Regulation (EU 2018/848) governs organic beekeeping in the European Union. It sets minimum standards for hive location, hive materials, feeding practices, and disease treatment. Organic beekeepers must be certified by an approved control body and pass annual inspections.
